Sie ist aus massiven, verleimten Ahornholz und mit traditionellem Geigenlack lackiert. Sie h\u00e4lt nicht nur den Bass sicher fest, sondern dient auch als Bogenhalterung und Ablage f\u00fcr Kolophonium, Metronom, Bleistift und Radiergummi, oder was man sonst noch so zum \u00dcben ben\u00f6tigt.&nbsp;Die Befestigung des Basses erfolgt durch ein Gummiband.
